Educational Leadership Inventory
Welcome to the Educational Leadership Inventory! The ELI is a 360-degree assessment–a process that analyzes information from an individual and his or her peers, superiors and subordinates. The ELI targets the Five Essential Domains of effective school leadership:
-
Visionary Leadership
-
Instructional Leadership
-
Emotional Intelligence
-
Climate and Culture
-
Management Skills
Highly effective leaders are strong
in each of these Five Domains.
The ELI identifies an educator’s current leadership strengths, as well as areas where he or she needs additional focus and training. Edwards Educational Services’ experts then analyze the ELI data and work with the ELI participant to:
-
Develop personal leadership growth plans;
-
Establish the leadership network they need to create a culture of ownership for all educational stakeholders;
-
Maximize their leadership competencies and equip them with the adaptive skills they need to manage resources effectively; and
-
Gain the collaborative skills and curriculum monitoring expertise they need to guild a data-driven system where all students can succeed.
-
Edwards Educational Services also offer the ELI Self-Assessment, which analyzes data solely from the individual’s perspective.
The ELI was developed by and for education leaders. It has been tested and validated by researchers and practitioners over a period of years. For education leaders who are serious about enhancing their leadership skills, the ELI provides personalized information and clear strategies for improving leadership across the Five Domains.
